I worry that folks will only post stuff alluding to not having our fifth glyph at our disposal, which will quickly grow boring. I want posts about politics, philosophy and things. Furious discussions about topical situations. That sort of thing.

@MrButton I wasn't trying to start a heated discussion. I want to avoid the people regressing back to the Vietnam era treatment of the service members. Those guys were dealt a shitty hand and then were told it was their fault. It wasn't fair to them and the blame was wrongly placed at their feet. Our leaders need to be held accountable. Today "joes" just want to feed their families and pay for college. You'd be surprised how many liberals and non-violent people are in the service.

I could complain about x86_64 calling syntax, if you want. Struggling all morning with %rbp and %rsp isn't fun.
@MinimalStart As a kid I got to know Z80 syntax fairly thoroughly. It had similar syntax to x86 but with annoying variations. Still didn't try that hard to catch up to x86. Don't so much want to now I can work with gratis C tools.

In writing a tool to turn a ⊆ of C to Z80 in high school, I got familliar-ish, but I didn't finish it.
x86 is surprisingly okay, but I still don't want to touch it too much.

@mumpsimus As for God, don't think I can add much to prior philosophical aphorisms. God is a stiff, and it's us that did him in.
Trump is a struggling old man, out of his usual cozy situation and lacking in capacity to do his job. Sadly all of us must put up with it until this awful situation is wound up.
